HOW I STAY FIT AND HEALTHY.

It is no secret that we all are slaves to our taste buds. Some admits, others don’t. Well, I’m sure you guessed it I belong to the former category. My love for food will always trump over my desire to stay fitness. But staying in the industry and being in the public eye has made me conscious about my body.

So even though I am a food lover, there are few rules I’m compelled to follow in order to stay fit.

  1. Wake up early: This one became a habit since the constant nagging from my parents. Probably every child has to hear scolding for sleeping late till noon. But it definitely has its upside. Since I started to wake at 7am, I felt more energized and positive throughout the day.
  2. Drinking water: I am aware that the sound of 8 glasses of water prescribed by every single diet guru is dreadful. But still water intake plays a vital role than we tend to comprehend. What I practice is before every meal I drink 1 whole glass of water. This helps in keeping my hunger in control, also to stay hydrated.
  3. Exercising: Personally, I am not a big fan of working out on a daily basis but to stay in movement is very important to stay fit. Every two days in week, I practice yoga. Other than that, I love walking which helps me stay in shape and also it keeps the heart healthy.
  4. Diet: Being a foodie, maintaining a strict diet is unfathomable. What I do is that I always include vegetables in my cooking and eat at least one fruit a day. I control my portion sizes so that I don’t overeat.

This is what I do stay in shape. I’m not the one to be a fitness freak as I enjoy eating out and delicious food as much as any other person. If you want you can follow my simple tips to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
