Hi, I’m Trissha Chatterjee

The journey of music for Trissha had started at an early age of 3. It has always been a part of her ups and downs in life. After completing her degree in Music from Rabindra Bharati University, Trissha began to concentrate completely on making a career as a singer. It started with ‘Sudhu Tui’.

She was also a lively contestant in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Her other playback numbers are:

Childhood Days
It was at the age of 3 that our musical diva Trissha Chatterjee fell in love with music. Under the guidance of her mother, little Trissha’s fingers played the harmonium as began her vocal training. Eventually, she continued her sincere training and her talent won her accolades in her school days. Hailing from a small town, she took a giant leap by coming to Kolkata to pursue music more seriously. She continued her training in vocal music academically from Rabindra Bharati University. Besides she also started taking music lessons from music personalities and instructors of that time.

Pursuing Career
Through several ups and downs and severe hardships, she completed her Masters Degree in Vocal Music from Rabindra Bharati with flying colours. Since then she completely dedicated herself in pursuing singing as her career.

Debut as Playback Singer
With promising performances in television reality shows like ETV Taraana, Zee TV and Zee Bangla Saregamapa she was bringing her talent in notice of the audience. Finally a breakthrough happened when she did her debut playback Ektu Khola Hawa composed by Raja Narayan Deb in a Bengali feature film Baranda. Since then she with her talent and dedication continued to concentrate on her career as a singer and in 2018 came her biggest hit Shudhu Tui from the movie Villain that become the song of the year.

Performance & Concerts
It can be truly said that Trissha “eats, sleeps and drinks music”. Apart form playbacks in Bengali films, she has also done playbacks in Bangladesh and even made her debut in Bollywood with the song ‘One two’ from the movie Chase. Besides she has entertained the audience with her live performances and concerts all over India, Bangladesh and USA.
