It is the Time to Think, to Unite

Maybe I will sound a bit depressed, But this is what I am feeling now and then. But isn’t it pretty obvious to feel this way?
I am a professional artist, a playback singer who gets to perform at prestigious stage shows. Due to my profession, I am also one of the front runners whom people like to catch glimpses.

Due to the pandemic situation, we are keeping ourselves locked at home most of the time. Still, we are getting virtual shows and doing our bit to keep on running our lives. Our viewers are watching us, our performances, and having a good time.

But it is not about us. I am talking about those who make the shows successful being the base. It is the technicians, make-up artists, spot boys who take care of all the bits and pieces of the programs that we perform.

Our viewers do not get to see these men and women who walk the talk. They are the hard workers behind the colorful and bright stages, and the souls who make the performers look great. They are the ones who love to offer their best so that the artists can deliver their best on the stage.

If I don’t think of myself as a performer but as an individual only, I know how it feels to be jobless for a long time. I know how it feels looking at the faces of family members who don’t know what to do in the next hour. I have done my bit to extend a little help to these people. If you want to do your bit to help them, then please do it. They need us.
